CALGARY — Calaway Park has been granted an approval from Alberta Health Services (AHS) to open next month.

This comes after the amusement park’s exemption order was considered no longer valid by AHS earlier this month.

The park, west of Calgary, will allow guests inside on June 12 and June 13, and then will be open daily beginning June 19.

It will be with limited hours, and for guests with season or pre-purchased passes, which can be bought online starting June 3.

Capacity at the park will only be at 33 per cent, and masks will also need to be work while in line ups and on many of the rides.

Calaway Park says it anticipates many of the restrictions for the park will be eased when the province enters Stage 3 of its reopening plan.
