CALGARY – Calgary police are looking for a 27-year-old man after a young man and his father were attacked near Eau Claire last month.
Police say on May 14, an 18-year-old was walking with his 47-year-old dad on Barclay Walk SW when they came across a group of people “causing a disturbance” on the pathway.
After a brief conversation with the group, the victims were attacked. Officers say one of the people in the group punched the 18-year-old repeatedly in the face and locked him to the ground.
The victim’s dad tried to take a picture of the suspect but was attacked y the other three people in the group.
Both victims were taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Witnesses nearby jumped in to help the victims and identify the suspects.
Police are now looking for Cody Landry, 27. Landry is about 5’10” and 17 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes.
He’s wanted on a charge of assault causing bodily harm.
Officers are also looking to identify the other three suspects.
Anyone with additional information on this attack can call police or submit an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers.
